We had a leak in our cloakroom this summer and despite removing the worst affected floorboards and putting a heater in there it still isnt as dry as we had hoped, I ordered this little dehumidifier hoping it would help. We've had it running in there for just under a week, it seems to hold just under a litre of water until its full and switches off, so far we've needed to empty it twice now during the time it's been in there, so it seems to be working very well.It possibly quite an easy test for it, given that it's such a tiny room and the remaining floorboards had become quite damp before we added the dehumidifier, but it certainly is dragging the water out quicker than I'd expected, it's so easy to set up, and use, so I'm very pleased with it.The only issue I could see with it was that it might be too noisy if it was in a bedroom, to give an idea how loud it is, it's around the same level as a fan would be, so not terrible, but you can easily hear it and some people may struggle to sleep through it. Overall though it seems to do its job very well though, so I'm happy to recommend it.

I had this device free from Amazon in order to review it.Firstly, don't expect the same performance from a low voltage 30W device that you get from a 400W or larger one which contain a large noisy compressor. This appears to work with a solid state cooler "Peltier" device Similar to those used in portable picnic "cool food boxes" father than a compressor, and has un upward facing fan drawing the air through the unit past the cold heatsink just above the collection tank. This little unit is light, compact, and quiet in operation. It really needs to be in a small confined space with a moderately warm atmosphere, it didn't seem to work in a cold outside shed.I found the best use for it was underneath a clothes airer, when drying washing indoors, and only drawing 30 Watts, costs almost nothing to run.Emptying the water container is easy, by simply sliding it out, and removing the top. ( some reviews complain about the top being non removable, so perhaps these have a modified design?)Not really suitable for large rooms, which can be expected with such a low power consumption.Well made and good value for what it is.

I am very impressed with this little dehumidifier. I emphasise little, because it is little and intended for small spaces. The first photo is of the dehumidifier without the tank installed lying down on my iPad so you can get an idea of the size.I have a fitted bedroom wardrobe and I used to put the disposable dehumidifier packs on the shelves and they worked well. However I frequently forgot to check them and they would overflow. This little dehumidifier has solved the problems. The wardrobe is on a cold outside wall so with the warmth of the bedroom, damp will always be an issue. Not now I can put this little machine on the shelf with my hair dryer and I check it every time I use my hair dryer. However it does have an automatic shut off if the tank is getting too full so no more overflow risks. It has an 800 ml capacity but it’s so effective you do need to empty it frequently maybe every week depending on how damp the area you use it in. For me it’s just another task on the weekly bedroom cleaning routine. It’s very effective and not at all noisy. I like that it’s more environmental friendly and there’s only the water it collects to dispose of, no more plastic tubs going into the bin. Emptying is not too difficult . I have a much larger version from the same manufacturer and I use that in larger rooms. For both machines I just take a bucket to where they are, take out the tank and empty them into the bucket. This little one has a removable lid or I guess you could drain it out through the black looking hole in my pictures. This little one has certainly improved the moisture problem in my fitted cupboard. Plus the small size makes it a breeze to lift and maintain not like my big room size one! Very pleased with it.

I have had this device running non-stop for a number of hours and it has removed some moisture from the air, although less than what I was hoping for.My home office is approximately 6 sqm. In the cold winter months, I have condensation early in the morning around the glass doors that face the outside. I usually mop this up in the morning. During the day, I keep the windows closed and condensation appears on the windows again, basically due to my breathing. I hoped this device would absorb sufficient vapour in the air to avoid condensation during the day. Not really. The device is reasonably quiet with the hum from the internal fan providing brown noise. It doesn't impede video calls. It is easy to see how much moisture has been extracted from the air and a green light on the top indicates that it is working. My only dislike is that it is not more effective at extracting moisture.

I've been needing a new compact dehumidifier for ages after my last one broke, we've had a mould problem for years and it reappears especially in the damp winter months so this came at the perfect time for our garage. Our garage is currently suffering with damp walls and general moisture so we put this to the ultimate test.We kept this on continuous and it continually filled itself up, drawing water out of the walls very effectively, and are still emptying it regularly. We've noticed a huge improvement in the damp walls and hoping the mould does not reappear.Very effective, would recommend.

So I got this the other day, to see if my home was in fact soggy, turns out it was, not much but enough, in 2 days I had more water in the tank than I expected. It is a little bit noisy but that will be the constant whirr of the fan.In conclusion if you want to leave it in a room to do it's thing it is really good

I have been using this small Dehumidifier in our conservatory and its been ace. I have it going for most of the day and haven't experience any issues as of yet. For its size, it definitely packs a punch! Relatively low cost too, highly recommend.

As the cooler months roll in, so does the familiar sight of condensation on my windows. While I've always relied on my trusty window vac, I recently had the chance to try out the Duronic Compact Eco-Efficient Dehumidifier DH06, and I must say, it's quite the little performer.First off, setting it up is a breeze. Simply unbox, plug in, switch on, and it's ready to go. I decided to put it to the test in a small room in my house, notorious for its condensation issues. I was pleasantly surprised by its whisper-quiet operation. It's so silent that it's perfect for a child's room, without the worry of it disturbing their sleep. The DH06 comes alive with a charming green neon light when turned on, assuring you that it's hard at work. And work it does! In my small room, the dehumidifier's 0.8L tank was about half full by morning, and most impressively, not a trace of condensation on the windows. It seemed too good to be true, so I plan to test it again tonight for consistency and will update this review with the results.Would I recommend this dehumidifier? Absolutely. It's compact, incredibly quiet (quieter than a running PC or laptop), and highly effective in small spaces (up to 10 SQM). While I'm yet to test it in larger rooms, I have a feeling it may not be as effective in expansive spaces, but that's on the agenda for this weekend.A crucial tip for potential users: the best spot for a dehumidifier is midway between windows and doors, away from drafts and cold air, to ensure optimal efficiency. Now, don't expect this petite device to tackle high-moisture areas like a damp bathroom or a room with existing damp problems; you'd need a more robust unit for such situations. As for the price, the DH06 sits at around £35, which I find quite reasonable, especially considering Duronic's reputation for quality. Plus, there's a 5% voucher available at the time of writing this review, making it an even sweeter deal.In conclusion, if you're in the market for an affordable, ultra-quiet, and compact dehumidifier for a small room, the Duronic DH06 is a fantastic choice. It worked wonders for me, and I'm more than happy to recommend it.

This dehumidifier works very well given it's size. It isn't too noisy and clearly pulls moisture from the air well. Please don't expect this to make a steam room arid dry - it's a smaller one for smaller rooms and does its job well.
